שותפות JNF Holland

השותפות בין המועצה האזורית רמת הנגב לבין JNF Holland מבוססת על חזון ציוני מתפתח, הרואה במדבר מרחב חי, רגיש ובעל פוטנציאל, המחייב פיתוח אחראי, שימור מערכות טבע, וחיים משותפים בין אדם לסביבה. מאז הקמתו בשנת 1901, JNF פועל לחיזוק הקשר בין עם לארץ ולקידום פיתוח בר־קיימא בישראל. לאורך השנים התפתח החזון מתפיסה של עיבוד הקרקע לתפיסה רחבה של אחריות סביבתית, חיזוק קהילות, ושיקום אזורים צחיחים תוך שמירה על האיזון האקולוגי.

ברמת הנגב, שותפות זו באה לידי ביטוי בפרויקטים חדשניים וארוכי טווח. יחד הקמנו פארק ציפורים קהילתי באזור פתחת ניצנה, המחבר בין שמירת טבע, חינוך סביבתי וחיזוק קהילה באזור מדברי רגיש. בנוסף, אנו מקדמים פיילוט חדשני לטיפול בזבל ירוק והפיכתו לאנרגיה מתחדשת, פרויקט Green Waste to Energy, המשלב קיימות, תשתיות אזרחיות וחדשנות מותאמת מדבר. השותפות כוללת גם תמיכה בהקמת יישוב קהילתי במושב באר מילכה, אחד היישובים החלוציים והמרוחקים בנגב, כחלק מתפיסה של חיזוק התיישבות אזרחית תוך שמירה על איכות החיים והמרחב הטבעי.

מעבר לפרויקטים עצמם, JNF Holland עומד לצידה של רמת הנגב גם בעתות חירום ובתקופות של אי־ודאות. הליווי והתמיכה המתמשכים, ובכללם הסיוע בתקופת המלחמה, מבטאים שותפות ערכית עמוקה ואחריות משותפת לעתיד האזור.

Strategic Partnership: JNF Holland

The partnership between the Ramat HaNegev Regional Council and JNF Holland is rooted in a contemporary Zionist vision that views the desert as a living, sensitive landscape, one that calls for responsible development, ecological balance, and sustainable human presence. Since its founding in 1901, JNF has worked to strengthen the connection between people and land in Israel. Over time, this vision has evolved from land cultivation toward a broader approach that emphasizes environmental responsibility, community resilience, and the sustainable development of arid regions.

In Ramat HaNegev, this partnership is expressed through innovative, long-term projects. Together, we established a community bird park in the Nitzana area, integrating nature conservation, environmental education, and community life within a fragile desert ecosystem. We are also advancing a pioneering Green Waste to Energy pilot, transforming green waste into renewable energy and promoting circular, desert-adapted infrastructure solutions. The partnership further includes support for the development of a community settlement in Be’er Milka, a remote and pioneering moshav in the Negev, reflecting a shared commitment to strengthening civilian communities while respecting the natural landscape.

Beyond specific projects, JNF Holland has stood alongside Ramat HaNegev during times of emergency and uncertainty. The continued support, including assistance during the recent war, reflects a deep sense of shared responsibility, solidarity, and long-term commitment to the region.
