השותפות בין המועצה האזורית רמת הנגב לבין Jewish National Fund–USA נטועה בחזון ציוני עמוק של בניין הארץ וחיזוק החברה הישראלית, חזון שמלווה את העם היהודי כבר דורות ומקבל ביטוי מעשי בנגב.

Jewish National Fund–USA פועל מתוך מחויבות ארוכת שנים לפיתוח אזורי הצפון והדרום של ישראל, לחיזוק ההתיישבות האזרחית וליצירת איכות חיים גבוהה בפריפריה. שותפות זו מבוססת על תפיסה משותפת הרואה בנגב מרחב לאומי אסטרטגי, שבו פיתוח קהילתי, שמירה על הקרקע והסביבה, ותשתיות אזרחיות מהווים יסודות לביטחונה ולעתידה של מדינת ישראל.

במסגרת שותפות זו מקודמים מיזמים רחבי היקף ומשני מציאות, ובהם פיתוח תשתיות מים ומאגרים, חיזוק החקלאות והביטחון התזונתי, הקמת שכונות חדשות באמצעות קרן לפיתוח דיור, והשקעה בתשתיות קהילתיות ואזרחיות. במקביל, פועלות המועצה ו-Jewish National Fund–USA לקידום צמיחה כלכלית אזורית, תעסוקה וחדשנות, בין היתר באמצעות פיתוח מרכז עסקים ותעסוקה אזורי שישמש מנוע צמיחה לנגב כולו.

השותפות משקפת הבנה משותפת כי בניית הנגב היא חלק בלתי נפרד מהמשך מימוש החזון הציוני, חזון של חיבור בין עם לארץ, בין קהילה למקום, ובין פיתוח אחראי לשמירה על משאבי הטבע. אנו מודים ל-Jewish National Fund–USA על שותפות עמוקה, מחויבות ארוכת טווח ופעולה משותפת המעצבת את עתידו של הנגב ושל מדינת ישראל.

The partnership between the Ramat HaNegev Regional Council and Jewish National Fund–USA is rooted in a shared Zionist vision of building the land of Israel and strengthening its people, a vision carried across generations and realized today through meaningful action in the Negev.

Jewish National Fund–USA is guided by a long-standing commitment to developing Israel’s underserved regions, particularly the south, and to creating high-quality, sustainable communities that anchor Israel’s future. This partnership is built on a shared understanding of the Negev as a strategic national region, where civilian settlement, environmental stewardship, and resilient infrastructure are essential pillars of Israel’s long-term strength.

Through this collaboration, transformative initiatives are advanced, including the development of water infrastructure and reservoirs, support for sustainable agriculture and food security, the creation of new residential neighborhoods through a Housing Development Fund, and investment in essential community and civil infrastructure. In parallel, the Council and Jewish National Fund–USA work together to promote regional economic growth, employment, and innovation, including the development of a regional business and employment center designed to serve as a long-term engine of opportunity for the Negev.

Beyond individual projects, this partnership reflects a shared belief that strengthening the Negev is central to the ongoing realization of the Zionist vision, connecting people to land, community to place, and development to responsibility.
